What is EMITR?
EMITR is a particle generator that runs in your browser. A particle system simulates thousands of small objects, each following simple physics rules like gravity, turbulence, and attraction. Out of those rules, complex motion emerges: swirling crowds, trailing sparks, slow drifting fields, violent bursts.
Instead of keyframing motion, you shape the rules. Move a slider and every particle responds. Swap the emitter shape and the whole system reorganizes. It's a different way of making motion graphics: closer to tuning an instrument than posing frames.
Built for VJs, motion designers, streamers, and anyone who likes playing with light, color, and movement. Free to use, no signup, no install. Export what you make as MP4 or as a standalone HTML file you can drop anywhere.

What is a particle generator?
A tool for creating animations from thousands of small elements, each following physics rules like gravity, turbulence, and attraction. Because the motion is generated rather than drawn, you get visuals that are impossible to pose by hand: evolving clouds, trailing embers, organized swarms.
Do I need to install anything?
No. EMITR runs in your browser. Any modern browser with WebGPU support works. The free tier requires no signup.
What browsers are supported?
Chrome, Edge, and other Chromium-based browsers with WebGPU enabled. Safari support is rolling out. Firefox support depends on your platform. If the app opens to a black screen, your browser likely doesn't have WebGPU yet.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free includes 2D shapes, point emitters, turbulence forces, and two starter presets (one 2D, one 3D). No signup needed. Pro is $8 a month or $75 a year and unlocks 3D shapes, advanced emitter shapes, curl and vortex forces, all eight presets, and full MP4 and HTML export.
Can I use what I make commercially?
Yes. You own what you create with EMITR. Use it in live sets, streams, videos, installations, or client work.
